Sant Pol de Mar

SANT POL DE MAR

Sant pol de Mar is a town and municipality in the Maresme region, in the province of Barcelona, located on the coast, between Calella de la Costa and Canet de Mar. It owes its origin, as well as its name, to the Hermitage of San Pau from the 10th century.

Sant Pol de Mar is an example of a Mediterranean town, with its narrow streets and its white, stepped houses and with the coast cut by the beaches of clean and granular sand that recall its seafaring origins.

Since March 16, 2019, Sant Pol de Mar has been part of the Barris i Villes Marineres tourist brand , which is made up of municipalities and neighborhoods of municipalities on the Catalan coast, which continue to keep tradition, culture and their roots alive, tied to the sea.
